ABOUT THE STUDIO THEATRE TIERRA DEL SOL

Tierra del Sol was once a Country Club where live performances accompanied fine dining and sweeping golf course views. In time, this beloved space was transformed into a vibrant Black Box Theatre, now celebrated as The Studio Theatre™. With 120 seats and flexible staging configurations including Thrust, Round, and Proscenium, The Studio Theatre offers an intimate home for bold, boundary-pushing artistry. Presenting nearly 180 performances each season, The Studio Theatre has become a vital stage for theatrical innovation and community connection.

The Studio Theatre is an extension of The Sharon L. Morse Performing Arts Center®, located in The Spanish Springs Town Square® at the heart of The Villages® community. Affectionately known as The Sharon, this landmark venue welcomes just over 1,000 guests into a world-class, multi-level theater. With state-of-the-art acoustics, immersive visual design, and advanced theatrical rigging, The Sharon is a destination for extraordinary concerts, comedians, opera, dance, and Broadway-caliber productions. Together, The Studio Theatre and The Sharon are proudly powered by Significant Productions, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to championing the arts, fostering creativity, and curating unforgettable cultural experiences that enrich the lives of our community.

THE STUDIO THEATRE TIERRA DEL SOL acknowledges that we gather on the traditional land of the Seminole and Timucua People. We honor the rich cultural history of the Peoples who lived on this land prior to European colonization. This acknowledgment does not replace authentic relationships with indigenous communities, but serves as a first step in honoring the living legacy of the People and the land.
